Mike did a sewing/craft room for me. He was prompt in returning calls or messages, was very willing to do things differently, and did all he could to give me exactly what I wanted.
Great work on my bathroom! They installed in 4 days and we're very nice people, it was a very nice experience and i couldn't ask for anything more! I will be hiring them again for my kitchen !!
Mike and his team of pros are simply the best. Mike came to our project while it was in the framing stage to review our plans and site. After a few quick measurements and few minutes of consideration, Mike offered a couple of minor changes that allowed for the best use of our limited space and greatly improved kitchen layout.
A few days later Mike provided a scale drawing of his proposal and a price for real plywood and hardwood cabinets that beat the big box store's particle board and plastic crap.
We gladly accepted Mike's proposal and scheduled a rough delivery date so that we could be sure to be in his busy schedule. We stayed in touch as the project progressed and when we were a few weeks away from our goal, Mike began building the cabinets at his shop in Poulsbo.
I like that I was able to stop by his shop as the job came together and talk to Mike and his craftsmen who were actually building and finishing our custom cabinets by hand. I also like that our hard earned money stays in the local economy and helps support local hard working families.
On the scheduled delivery and install day, Mike and his top man delivered and installed the cabinets. (I know that may not seem like much of a statement but if you've ever dealt with lesser contractors, the scheduled delivery day is a moving target that rarely ever sees an arrow and the list of excuses never ends.) Not Renaissance!
The next day they returned with the counter tops, installed them, cut the sink hole, and they were driving away at noon. Wow. Mike and his team don't fool around!
The cabinets look and feel incredible and our small but amazing kitchen got so many compliments at our open house that were almost embarrassed to tell our friends how truly affordable they actually were. After a while I simply said "yeah, we know a guy".
We recently had an opportunity to work with Mike again. After he listened to our ideas and measured the available space I said "You already have the job Mike, just tell us what it will cost and when you can do it."
Once again, Mike and Renaissance Cabinets proved that they are simply the best. Our new baking center is awesome and yeah, we know a guy!!
Absolutely fantastic company. After interviewing and reviewing seven cabinet makers we selected Renaissance Woodworks. We have been completely impressed with the excellence and talent Mike and company display. We had a complete custom job and all along the way we heard "yes" and "we can make this work" and "we just want you to be happy". He came to the house and measured and remeasured, made the plans and edited them happily when we made adjustments. At the end of the day they delivered everything they said they would and if there was a problem they took care of it. Although, we encountered very few if any challenges. It was also nice to have the actual cabinet makers install what they had been working on. The pricing is comparable but the quality and workmanship and pleasantness and professionalism is top notch. They have been doing this for years and take pride in their work. They were so wonderful to work with that I nominate myself to be the president of the fan club!
